HEY YOU I JUST FOUND THE SAME VIDEO WITH 1080 PIXELS SO INCREDIBLE SOUND
Les Paul was a true genius inventing such a versatile instrument; jazz, rock, blues, funk and more. It must be amazing to have a real 59 one. I have played two 59s in London and they did sound amazing. I am not THE Steve Morse just someone who plays his signature Music Man model.
Prawdziwy wirtuoz gry na gitarze ❤️🎸
Is this the guitar Luke’s dad bought for him instead of getting himself a new car? What a great dad my dad was like that everything was for his wife & children.
I think that was a ‘71 Deluxe with mini humbuckers that his dad bought him. He used that one on Hold The Line and most of the first Toto album (and some of the second) before he got the ‘59. A wonderful gift that showed just how much Luke’s dad truly loved him and saw his potential!
Some one knows the pickups that steve was using in his les paul
That's the best les paul guitar every note is Fire 🎵🎶🎸 🔥
❤incredible Warren love his guitar work
I think I saw this guitar at the Musician’s Hall of Fame in Nashville, TN last week.
Been a while w/out watch this

Michio Kaku can shred!
Luke use the force
Absolutely fantastic !!!! It sounds like Joe Beck song nammed Cactus
Amazing album
why don't I have this guitar?! (the Les Paul....)
les paul 59 in japan, set by japanese, end up sounds like yamaha sg but not even better.
Music flow from his hands just like water does from a tap, i'm so jealous
Lukather playing guitar is a great guitar player. Lukather playing a classic Gibson Les Paul is a guitar playing Great! Every Guitar Great has an Iconic playing moment. Lukather's is his lead solo on "Hold The Line". And that was with a Les Paul. It is such a great shame his collaboration with Ibanez didn't work out. His original vision for what eventually became the Ibanez RS1010SL must have been some special guitar. Pity it never panned out. And a pity he never went back to Gibson.
This takes me back...recorded on cheap mobile??
sweet jam session
I used to live here in the 70s. Ha
Is this from 1st season Trailer Park Boys?
This is so good!
so...who is that guy?
One of the best tones ever to come from a Les Paul
See also Angus Young
Probably the most underrated metal guitarist of the 80’s. His name is never mentioned with the guitar gods, but it should be.
under rated by whom exactly ? you?
There’s nothing like that Wasp in a jam jar effect to highlight the superb sound of a 59 Les Paul.................. hmmmm
The Lukather sound requires a Les Paul. Even Lukather isn't Lukather when he is playing something else.
Love the album he did with the Tubes
Yu Darvish, who knew
The first time someone said “shred”, They were in the presence of Mr. Lukather’s blurry fingers.
Pretty sure he is playing that Les Paul on the 1982 live version of Hold The Line.
Did Les Pauls even exist then?
@@chasify642 Yes. There was a world before you ... back when LP's roamed the earth.
@@whynottalklikeapirat Ah, I had heard something saying Les Pauls had first been created in 1969, guess it was false.
@@chasify642 Nonsense. The rise of LP's heralded the demise of the dinosaurs. Something to do with brown notes.
Hey how can I get it? I bought the album.
Since Dweezil Zappa produced his solo disc, any info if DZ played on some of it, including this tune?
It is wonderful! The channel has been registered.
Memory lane moment. The 'Rosanna Burst' LP is the Tone Genesis of Luke's Valley Arts and Ernie Ball guitars. Very cool hearing him reconnect with the old girlfriend...
Infidel14? Love Luke’s valley arts and Ibanez signature models too
In 5 min. These two just out played 95% of all other guitar players
I like that Japanese guys solo style
He knew it was out......some people also thought CREAM was out of tune......Ha>>>>>>
I want to hear the Les Paul with a tweed Deluxe.
God that "Paul" sounds so amazing! The strat sounds like a "hello kitty" guitar in comparison ! 59 was the year of the les paul👍🏼✌🏼️Luke is such a great player, actually the other dude is also but I do not know who it is?
That strat sounds damn good. 🤦🏻♂️
Genius !!
Lukather the classic sound of acoustical properties of a instrument that is 50 years aged the vol and tone controls are the best they got it right in 1957-1961, they should have made more, the market was jazz players that Gibson made these for except they did not favor them maybe the custom les paul aka The Fretless Wonder and the Custom L-5, the one Wes Montgomery played with one neck p.u. C.E.S
It's not the guitar kids, it's ur fingers, ur dedication and ur consistency ... Any guitar will sound like a million dollars after that... Any guitar!
Keep in mind that the glue and nitro finish used on this Les Paul all have glass like effect to make it one and make it vibrate and sing No plastic glue and paint that kills the vibrations , tone and feel ))
I remember the first time I ever heard Luke I had been wood shedding for months, playing 8 to 10 hours a day and felt great about my playing. Then I heard the spine tingling fret board swagger of the Rosanna solo and felt the hot air rushing out of my rapidly deflating ego like an errant party balloon frantically blathering around the room in a flatulent death spiral. I kid, but I'm sure I'm not the only guitarist who although inspired and amazed by the righteousness of that seminal sound still felt that sickly sinking feeling! Anyway that's what it's all about - to keep getting better you need cats to come along and kick your ass all over the place just to force you to "defend" yourself. Get better or get gone!
2 fine musicians. A pleasure to see what they created on the spot.
lukether is pretty average
You obviously don't know much about Lukather, otherwise you wouldn't have posted such a stupid comment
